Exactly. Not only are American Jews overwhelmingly against the "Republican establishment", they're overwhelmingly against anyone ELSE running for office with an "R" next to their name.
Exactly. The ZOA crowd are all neocon globalists who support open borders, free trade and wars like Iraq. It would be hard to find a group of people more opposed to “populist nationalism” or whatever Bannon calls himself than the crowd at a ZOA meeting.

Bannon is pushing the Saudi foreign policy line to an absurd degree lately, making comical statements about Iran and Qatar being the most important issues. This is obviously an attempt to suck up to the ZOA crowd and other parts of the Israel Lobby. The question is what is Bannon’s game here?
Obviously, a Trump administration that starts a new major Middle East war will go down in flames and lose almost all its supporters under 50. It would be a reprise of Dubya. So I doubt Bannon intends for that to happen. So why is he sucking up so hard to the very elements in American politics that are most committed to that happening?
