An interesting factoid would be what percent of the 1% are liberals. And what percent got rich through controlling the government money.
I would say this is rather a condemnation of the period from 1975 to now. From 1925 to 1975 real wealth grew to all parties. From 1975 to now, only the rich and connected and have gained wealth. How much of this was done by trading paper, like selling CDOs and other things that ripped off the system without creating wealth?
The left likes to portray wealth as some kind of
Scrooge McDuck vault full of money, they act as though
the 1% have all this wealth piled under their mattresses.
Nothing could be farther from the truth, but the left
has never let that stop them before.
