There’s a few places down here in MS that allow smoking (along with the casinos). Waffle House has a section and I noticed that Chili’s allows it in the bar area (along with the dining tables in that area).

It’s been smoke free like other hospitals for years. Even Military bases are now smoke free. I’m on the Navy base at least once a week, never see smokers, do see the stuff sold in the Exchange though, at rather steep prices.

The Navy has been pretty effective at cutting smoking down drastically within the ranks. I remember when half the fleet smoked and following the conclusion of a GQ drill on a carrier, the line to get into the smoke pit traveled the length of the hangar bay. Not anymore. These days few sailors smoke. A fair number are vaping though.

Most of the VA's have an outdoor smoking area.
Considering that you can be waiting there for hours on end I understand their being required to have a smoking area.
All VAs should have a smoking area, that's part of the law they are trying to repeal. And given how asinine they are, if this does get repealed I bet most VAs will eliminate both indoor and outdoor smoking areas, although most vets will just ignore that and smoke outside anyways. Military buildings state you can't smoke within 50ft of an entry door, but people do it all the time.
