Two prominent members of Minnesota's Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party are calling on Sen. Al Franken to resign his Senate seat following allegations of sexual misconduct.
Although many other Democrats have called the former comedian's actions disturbing, state auditor Rebecca Otto and Megan Thomas, president of the party's official Feminist Caucus, say he should leave office.

This is just probably local politics now kicking in, with ‘Rats on lower rungs of the ladder hoping to move up a step or two.
I confess that I do not know much about politics in Minnesota but are these two really “promiment” Dems?

This is the Dems playing defense. They know Franken is beatable with Trump in Office and Bannon behind the scenes.
Franken will be gone in less than 30 days. The Dem Governor appoints a replacement who has time to consolidate things before the next election.

I was there. He shouldn’t be in there in the first place. The “election” was farcically and publically manipulated until loser Franken finally got a number that put him ahead. He should NEVER have been sworn in. Remember, this is the same bunch of geniuses who “elected” jesse dimbulb. The saying at the time was, “MINNESOTA!! What were you THINKING??” Obviously, thinking didn’t have a lot to do with it...

Franken is a sacrificial lamb to these Democrats and will play right into their hands, as they will demand Trumps resignation because of the earlier allegations and tape discussing groping women. Just stay tuned, it’s coming.
