In the wake of Fox News anchor Shepard Smiths six-minute fallacy-filled Uranium One fact check rant on Tuesday, social media is brimming with enraged Fox viewers calling for the network to dump the longtime host and send him to CNN.
Several left-wing and establishment media outlets reported some of the more searing social media screeds from fans of Fox, many of whom wished the cabler would part ways with its liberal broadcaster.
Breitbart News has debunked the myths peddled in Smiths monologue. Below is a roundup of some of the best headlines and social media posts from angry and disappointed Fox fans.
From left-wing Salon, which called Smiths Uranium One segment awe-inspiring:
Fox News viewers declare war on Shepard Smith for debunking Uranium One conspiracy
The segment did not go over well with Fox News viewers, who were hoping that the scandal would distract from the disasters plaguing the Trump administration. Foxs audience took to Twitter to express their disgust in Smith and some even called for his firing.

Not errors. Just lies.
They can’t fire him - he’s “diverse” and politically on the same page as his bosses.
He’s the token homosexual host, so he won’t get fired. After all, Fox kept him on after his hysterical coverage of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, when he reported that cannibalism was going on in the New Orleans Super Dome.
Shepherd Smith Reporting is Fox News’ version of fake news.
To fire his kind would not find favor in one specific group. An alternative would be to steal/hide his makeup making him embarrassed to go on air. Imagine Shep without eye makeup!
“Shepard not Shepherd. Musta mistook him for a sheep herder.
Why should they fire him? Fox News is rapidly becoming a clone of CNN under the stewardship of Murdock’s sons.
Send Him to CNN..........
Why? CNN gets a “two-fer” when Smith is out there lying on Fox. Everyone should realize that double coverage and lies for CNN is a “good thing”. (Not for the rest of us however)
“Fox News is rapidly becoming a clone of CNN”
Not true. Not even close.
The sheep know...and they’re nervous.
Sounds like a hate crime!
Liars lie...that is what they do. Never trust a liar about anything.
“...Fox News viewers, who were hoping that the scandal would distract from the disasters plaguing the Trump administration.”
“Disasters”? Like his incredibly successful Asian trip? The booming stock market? Amazing job creation?
Oh. Waterbottlegate. Right.
What are his ratings at 3pm? When he comes on, I change the channel-— as many here do.

*************
He’s drama queen, not a serious news anchor. I can’t believe his ratings justify keeping him on the network.
My favorite show on Fox used to be “The Five”, but even they seem to have been given their marching orders from the powers that be. Tuckers seems to be hangin’ in, however, and Laura appears to be a decent addition. Shep seems to be from another planet.
Just like the CNN posts here. Yer following CNN? ...really?
Whatever.. d;^)
Take Maria Barf with him.
