President Trump slammed Sen. Jeff Flake Sunday over comments he made during a hot mic moment.
“Sen. Jeff Flake(y), who is unelectable in the Great State of Arizona (quit race, anemic polls) was caught (purposely) on “mike” saying bad things about your favorite President,” Trump tweeted. “He’ll be a NO on tax cuts because his political career anyway is “toast.”

At a tax-reform event on Saturday, Flake was heard on a hot mic saying the GOP is “toast” if it becomes the party of Trump and Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore.
"If we become the party of Roy Moore and Donald Trump, we are toast," Flake told his friend Mayor John Giles of Mesa.
Giles piled on, encouraging Flake to challenge Trump in the primaries.
"I am not throwing smoke at you, but you are the guy — just for fun, think about how much fun it would be — just to be the foil, you know, and point out what an idiot this guy is," Giles said. "Anyway, I hope you do it."
Trump and Flake have been outspoken critics of each other for months. In a speech last month announcing he would not be seeking re-election, Flake called Trump’s behavior as commander in chief “reckless, outrageous, and undignified.” He also took aim at Trump in his book “Conscience of a Conservative.”
The president, in turn, has held nothing back in his attacks against Flake, referring to him as “toxic” and criticizing him for being weak on the border and crime.
As for Trump's claim about how Flake will vote on tax cuts, a spokesman for the Arizona senator told the Washington Examiner he "is still reviewing the tax reform bill on its merits. How he votes on it will have nothing to do with the President."
Yeah Flake. We folks of Alabama who voted for Trump think you are a piece of socialist dung. Go home and shut up. Oh, and take that ole idiot McScream with you. ARIZONA!!! JUST WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU FOLKS THINKING WHEN YOU ELECTED THESE TWO????? Good, freaking, grief!!!
Why taunt him into voting no on tax cuts? He has given no indication he would do so. We need that bill to pass.
Flake ran as a Tea Party conservative, and had a reasonable record in the House. He changed noticeably between when he was elected in November and when he took office in January, and has been a total turd ever since.
But Arizona wasn’t acting stupid by electing him to the Senate - once! If he thought he had a prayer of winning, he would not have dropped out.
McCain...think enormous name recognition with the 1/3 of AZ voters who are “Independents” and who get to vote in the primary. Plus millions of cash to run ads day & night during the primary, since he knows he doesn’t need any to win in the general election.
It also doesn’t help that Arizona borders Mexico and California...
Fox news has been pushing Flake’s supposed “open” mike utterance as if it were a divine oracle since done supposedly in private. Even Little Marco noted that it is nothing new from Flake’s previous public oracles.
I can not figure out why the media runs with every utterance of Witch Hillary, Rosie O’Donnell, Lena Dunham, or Flake.
All losers, beyond contesting. But with the exposure they get, one would think they are the wellspring of our survival. Proof of the Facebook mentality of the MSM.
Seems more like Trump is taunting him to vote "For" the bill. Afterall, wouldn't a "No" vote make Trump's statement correct? And we know how much these Never-Trumpers hate it when The Donald is right.
What part of 60+ million citizens voted for Trump don’t they get? The RINO candidate spent 100 million dollars in the primary and didn’t get a sniff.
