Remains of missing 3-year-old North Carolina girl found, authorities say

Investigators have recovered a body in a creek believed to be 3-year-old Mariah Woods, officials said Saturday.
District Attorney Ernie Lee told reporters that divers recovered the body in neighboring Pender County, about 25 miles from Mariah's home in Jacksonville. He added that they were awaiting a medical examiner's report to determine the official cause of death.
The body was found hours after Earl Kimrey, the live-in boyfriend of Mariah's mother, was arrested and held on $1 million bond. He is charged with concealing of death, obstruction of justice, second-degree burglary, felony larceny and possession of stolen property. Prosecutors are reviewing whether additional charges should be filed.

Why hasn’t he been charged with murder? Still investigating. They just found the body. It's hard to get a murder indictment without a theory of the case, which includes a cause of death.

He was charged with “concealing of death”? Does this mean someone like the mom did it? When the mother gave her plea for whoever had her “little angel to bring her home, she was my life”. The “WAS” was a big tip off along with her whiny voice and dry eyed crying routine.

No need for other charges. Heck no need to prosecute him for any of those charges. Just find him guilty of "lying". And then, put in in prison with the general population of prisoners, and let them all know what he "was originally arrested for" and how he "got away with it".
Justice will be done. Guaranteed.
