Bah. If Franken does not resign, Moore isn't going to see a minute of "grilling". This explains the pressure to remove Franken recently. But I doubt Franken is willing to "take one for the team" and resign.

Senator Moore should tell those non partisan professionals to go stuff themselves.

He WONT CARE. He gets there, HE will be the one doing the grilling.

Mitch “Butt Boy” McConnell doesn’t really want to dig into someone’s history of what they did 40 years ago, does he?

The matter is absolutely the concern of the people of Alabama and is none of the Senate’s business.

Doesnt someone have to make a complaint first? News clippings are not a complaint.

To be real, over half of the Senate Democrats have openly called for him to resign. It may be more now, so would you really like to revise and extend your remarks?

Get him and his accusers under oath. Get the yearbook into a lab. Let the chips fall.
If he has to be booted, then appoint Mo Brooks to the seat until 2018.
I have a feeling he is mostly innocent, and his accusers will fade away if asked to go under oath. Why do I think that? Because we have the last several decades to go by. There isn’t a hint of impropriety in the decades since he married. And frankly, almost every one of his accusers, their story starts to crumble when you start digging at the details.

The FEDERAL Senate should NOT ever be allowed to EXPEL a senator, ONLY the STATE LEGISLATURE should EVER do such a thing.

Let the purest senator cast the first stone. And let the most catty inquisitor experience an anal exam of her own, as Breitbart goes about beating the bushes of the deepest past.

Actually his “accusers” will be the ones facing the grilling.
If they’re wise, they’ll recant.

Heck, just make something up. After all, it's the accusation that is important, isn't it? That's what they're saying: proof isn't important, facts aren't important; only a serious-sounding accusation is required.

“Frankens gone, and with that, Moores cover.”
Agreed. That is the reason for this 11th hour push. With Conyers, and now Franken gone, they can pummel Trump & Moore with impunity.
It’s gonna be a busy week (with Hillary nowhere to be found!)...

The Senate will 'investigate', behind closed doors, and will eventually come back with, 'not enough conclusive evidence'.
Why? Because if they have an actual investigation, and try to expel him from the Senate, Moore will be able to defend himself, and McConnell knows where that might point back.

Frankens gone, and with that, Moores cover. Nonsense.
They give up a real perv, and we're supposed to let them crucify a victim of blatant politically motivated accusation?
No Thanks.
