A couple of credible witnesses for Moore to start things off - they never saw Moore at the restaurant .... and didn’t see Nelson either - see in ** marks:

Johnny Belyeu, Sr. is a former police officer with over two decades of experience with the Etowah County Sheriff’s Department and the Gadsden Police Department. He said in a statement, “I was an officer with the Etowah County Sheriff’s Department in the 1970s which means I worked in the courthouse and knew who Roy Moore was since he was the Deputy District Attorney at the time. I was a regular customer at Olde Hickory House, and I never once saw Judge Moore come in there. If he had I would have immediately recognized him. **I also never met Beverly Nelson during any of the many times I frequented the restaurant, and I can’t say that she even worked there.”**

Rhonda Ledbetter, a retired public school teacher who is currently the senior choir director at a Baptist church and teaches children at a local, church-sponsored day care center, was a waitress at Olde Hickory House for almost three years from 1977-1979. She was a college student at Jacksonville State University at the time and worked varying shifts at different times of day, multiple days a week during the time of her employment. “A few things stuck out to me. First, Nelson said she was 15 years old when she started working there but you had to be 16. **I don’t remember her from my time there, and I don’t remember any 15 year olds working there at all.**

Working in one's first job as a teen is a big deal. Yet no one remembers her working at the Olde Hickory House....nor do they remember Moore ever coming in the restaurant.

Here's a clue...Attorneys are a little local clique. Same place, same group day after day.

My guess is that there was some kind of Christmas party and that's where he signed the book...(if he did in fact). Look in the book for other non-student signatures.

Why did it say "Christmas 1977". It was a 1977 yearbook. Did she add that, too?

Notice he didn't address her by name...Just to...cuz he didn't know who the hell she was.

The writer is totally ignorant of how the legal profession works. Ethics investigations are carried out at the state level, not by a small, national voluntary organization. Deace is an embarrassment to himself and his employer.

The ABA has no authority to disbar this unethical political hack. That authority lies with the bar association(s( where she is licenced.

I would hope that on Wednesday morning, Roy Moore’s attorneys make the formal complaint.

The ABA is an arm of the Demorat party.

Exactly. Asking the ABA to launch an ethics investigation into Allred would be met with howls of laughter.

I believe Allred's licensed in California - LaLa land.

Yep. California and DC.

Complaints already filed, I think.

If an “assistant district attorney” went around signing things as “district attorney”, even a yearbook, the District Attorney would have kicked his ass and fire him.

Correct. The proper agency to conduct an investigation would be the State Bar of California. It would have to be proven she knew the signature was a forgery. Incompetence is not grounds for disbarment. Did she have to disclose, if she did know, prior to the time a party has to disclose in a lawsuit? Not cut and dry.

a member of the public can file a complaint according to calif bar website

OCTC can recommend that an attorney be disciplined only for a violation of the
California State Bar Act or the California Rules of Professional Conduct.

I heard Deace, with my own ears, say that Hillary would do less harm to the country and “the church” than Trump.

Well, there is rule 5-120 which they don’t seem to enforce (and, indeed, the official discussion renders it pretty much meaningless)
“A member who is participating or has participated in the investigation or litigation of a matter shall not make an extrajudicial statement that a reasonable person would expect to be disseminated by means of public communication if the member knows or reasonably should know that it will have a substantial likelihood of materially prejudicing an adjudicative proceeding in the matter.”

More to your point, however, incompetence is a violation (unless it is negligent):

Rule 3-110 (A) A member shall not intentionally, recklessly, or repeatedly fail to perform legal services with competence.

Since it signed with same suffix (D.A.)

I bet he never signed it at all and that the signature is total forgery. Copied off her Divorce/custody decree.

He never signed anything with D.A. suffix, only done by his secretary.

She may find herself in a heap of trouble over this eventually.

I always said it had to be forged by someone artistic. It's not as easy as you think.

Turns out Beverly is quite artistic and sketching is one of her hobbies.

Is the whole thing is a forgery...I don't know. I do believe it would have had to be done in pencil first...aka sketched, inked and then you erase the pencil. No matter what kind of eraser you use, the gloss on the paper is altered. It may account for the "dirty" page.

They say she wasn't an attention seeker. BUT she participated in Beauty Contests in California. So tell me another one.

The family only moved to Alabama about 1975. Why aren't her children rallying behind her. I believe both Spencer and Rebekah both live in Alabama.

No....file a criminal complaint...not to the bar.

What happens is...in my state and with my license...you get a felony and they pull your license automatically.

She’s licensed in the “cereal “ state. She should be disbarred, but that ain’t gonna happen.

I’m convinced she is paid to do this.

They may not pay her enough by the time this is over.

Never in my life did I think I would see so many Liars focused on one person. This is not how the US is designed to work.
