Thanks, my....yes, RIP Brian.
Lovely fire.
And we thank you for the things you CAN do.
Good for him!! More men teachers are needed in this kind of educating.
We got the call yesterday afternoon. They won’t get her flown out till Monday because that’s when they could get a flight out. So we’ll leave here Tuesday morning, the service will be Wednesday morning...NOT early :).....and then we’ll come home on Thursday.
Our son is driving down from WY. it will be good to see him. I told him I wished that Piper could come, too. But she can’t miss school and it will take him nearly a week to make the round trip. it’s 1107 miles from Jackson to Yukon, OK. Also some of hubby’s cousins are coming from Missouri and his brother and wife.
I hope you get that warmup! Of course, winter has just begun so no telling what’ll happen next. So weird that the whole southeast has had so much snow.
Oh....E18 is here on the Romeo and Juliet nest. :) Barley got to see him when he was still sititng in his egg half. Till his mom rolled him out. LOL!
Good evening, Kartographer...a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Thank you for this song....beautiful.
One can never have too many prayers, especially from pals. d:o)
Well good. Glad you got enough of a heads up for everyone to be able to get there. That’s a long haul for your son! I didn’t realize it was that far.
Yes, a little warm-up will be welcome. Farmer’s Almanac predicts a cold and snowy winter for us so we’ll take warmth when we can get it!
It sure WAS strange seeing all that snow the past couple of days below us. Rome, GA was a winter wonderland this morning and they aren’t all that far from us.
Dang, I didn’t realize it was time for Romeo’s and Juliet’s eggs to hatch already! Whew, time’s going by too fast.
I’ll have to remember to check in on the nest tomorrow to see the lil fuzzball. They’re so adorable when they’re tiny.
Been drumming up music for the Christmas thread. So many artists have done beautiful renditions of Christmas carols and it’s hard to decide who to choose for which carols.
I hope for your sake that the Farmer’s Almanac is wrong for a change! I really don’t mind having winter weather after the summers we have, but I also don’t like to be out in it. LOL!
I don’t imagine Ma and Pa Berry were too happy with all that snow. How can they do nestorations if they can’t tell where to put the straw! LOL! What I saw of 18 was that he was sooooo cute. Teensy little wings.
There are a lot of Christmas songs! That’s why I have a huge folder of them that I will start using when it’s closer to the actual holiday! :)
?
From Dot this morning after I wrote that we should probably wait til next weekend...
Our roads are BADBobby said Melanie came over and she says stay home if we can. She has studded tires and made it OK.
I put ice melt on the pavers out here and the ice melt slides around????? Driveway is solid ice and ice melt just sits there???
I am eating chocolate and readinggreat way to spend the day!!
It would be nice if they’re wrong but we aren’t holding our breath. They have a pretty good track record. At least they aren’t saying extremely cold.
Haven’t seen Pa Berry but Ma has been to the nest a couple of times the past two days. She doesn’t seem amused. LOL! They have the nest pretty much ready now and Ma’s been sleeping their at night quite a bit. It shouldn’t be long before eggs arrive.
I can get a little off the wall with musical tastes - LOL - but when it comes to Christmas, it’s traditional carols. Don’t care for the modern stuff much. But there are still a lot of choirs and artists who do beautiful renditions of them and it’s hard to choose.
WOOHOO! On the ball tonight.
#50 is yours!
Yikes! Sure does sound nasty up there! Not a good day to get out unless absolutely necessary. I feel for ya having all that ice to deal with. Snow would be better.
Eating choklit and reading - - yep, that sounds like a great way to spend the day. Hard to go wrong with choklit! LOL!
Good evening/morning, Luv...and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Thank you for the hymns.
Howdy, Kathy! (((hugs)))
You’re very welcome. Hope you have a blessed Sunday, too! Are you getting much snow yet?
The route I scoped out was flat and I tiptoed there...but then home.
We decided that discretion was the better part of valor. LOL!
Which Christmas thread are you doing them for?
Ah, so you did manage to make your haircut appointment? Cool. The day wasn’t a total loss.
The streets look just ugly on the cams around town. Might as well be driving on an ice skating rink. Yeehaa!
Well, I figure I’ll post them on the thread the Fri. before Christmas and hope to gather enough to post more on the Christmas Day thread if music is posted then.
