For what it’s worth, the media that has embedded with our troops is on record (Tom Brokjaw and Peter Lemmings if I recall the video clip I saw) at a town hall gathering discussing what a “journalist” should do if he learns of an impending attack on our troops by enemy forces. The response was “do nothing” because journalists should “be impartial”.
The clip was on youtube some years ago.

Russia doesn’t have the US Constitution in their law... and second, the press believes in our first amendment and our rights as much as the North Koreans do.
