What do you think is happening right now.... mexican standoff until after the holidays?
I think everyone is waiting for the Inspector General's report on the FBI's Clinton exoneration and the subsequent counterintelligence operation against Trump. It's expected at the end of December or early January. From Rosenstein's testimony last week, there is significant pressure to get it done and release it. If it's the bombshell I think it's going to be three things will happen: 1) Session's will "unrecuse" himself; 2) Session's will begin a criminal investigation against those named in the report (McCabe, Strzok, Page, Ohr, etc.); and 3) Mueller will either resign or be forced to "suspend" his investigation, pending the outcome of the criminal investigation into the FBI's and DOJ's illegal activities.
That may be too optimistic, but I think that this is going to happen. We'll see.
