Perhaps we should gradually, say over a one year period, stop paying everything but our basic “dues” to the club, then reappoint Nikki Haley to some other government position and simply cease participating altogether. We would leave it where it is as a showcase for the world’s stupidity. Gradually the UN would be de-emphasized by other major countries who can no longer make political hay with it. At some time in the future we can terminate the lease. I like that better than simply leaving.

Make Nikki the ‘SHUT DOWN CZAR”, then rent out the building to bring in more rental money—from PAYING customers.

Another Trump set-up, the U.N. took the bait and slit their own throats - brilliant.

It.s hard to get the truth published:

“While the U.N. has been claiming that the U.S. owes the world body over $1 billion, the U.S. has provided over $10 billion in extra peacekeeping assistance to the U.N. that has never been credited or reimbursed to the U.S. The president has refused to seek that reimbursement, and Congress has failed so far to require the president to do so. This assistance has come out of the military?s readiness funds”.
