Obama would like to go back to the good old days, when a handful of liberal media outlets controlled the flow of information.

Remember, its illegal for you to read the internet. Its different for the media. So everything you learn, you learn from us.

I did not place the item in Breaking News. Okay, but you did place it in "News" (see below).
> Since you apparently dont enjoy my stuff, may I quote what you said to someone else on another thread: You dont have to click on the thread, unless theres someone holding a gun to your head.
Oh, your stuff is okay by-and-large. I clicked on this thread voluntarily, in the hopes of reading Obama's whining, but what I found was not what Obama said (no quotes). Just this click-bait:
"Get the rest of the story and view the video here."
with a link to the blog site.
Unfortunately, I was not able to load the blog site -- it hung. So instead I found and read the BBC article itself.
And I also found state-side articles on CNN News, CBS News, and others (Reuters, etc.). So it's not like you HAD to use the blog as your alleged "source".
Anyway, since you seem to have taken it so hard, here's why I posted my original light-hearted, sarcastic comment. JimRob (you know, FR's owner?) has posted explicit rules in the past about threads from blogs:
- Threads from blogs go in "Bloggers" -- a forum he created for blog threads. You put yours in "News". Oopsie!
- Blog posts must NOT BE EXCERPTED. You excerpted your blog post and added a click-bait link. Oopsie!
- Poster should join in the conversation on the thread. You did that -- good for you!
Next time please post your blog stuff in "Bloggers" and don't excerpt it. Thanks.

Hillary Clinton was advocating for an Internet gatekeeper in 1998, so this is nothing new for the Libs/Dems.
FLASHBACK: HILLARY CLINTON SAYS INTERNET NEWS NEEDS 'RETHINK'
Hillary Rodham Clinton said IN 1998 during a meeting with reporters said that "we are all going to have to rethink how we deal with" the Internet because of the handling of White House sex scandal stories on Web sites.
Clinton was asked whether she favored curbs on the Internet, after the DRUDGE REPORT made headlines with coverage of her husband's affair with a White House intern. "We are all going to have to rethink how we deal with this, because there are all these competing values ... Without any kind of editing function or gatekeeping function, what does it mean to have the right to defend your reputation?" she said.

On December 24th, on the thread of another item I posted, COBOL2Java wrote to the admin moderator: "Does a blog belong in News/Activism?"
The admin moderator responded as you'll see below. Rather than policing FR, I would invite you to engage in the substantive conversation on my threads. I can see that you're an intelligent guy and could surely make good contributions.
PS: I'd add that whereas other sites reported on the interview, I doubt that any of them analyzed and broke it down from a conservative perspective as I did at FinkelBlog. Sorry that the site hung for you, but please try to load it and see if you don't find my analysis interesting.

“...people can have entirely different realities. They can be cocooned in information that reinforces their current biases...”
That is exactly how the left keeps liberals off the road to recovery.
Is there anyone here—except the leftard trolls—who thinks we also do that? Because it was exactly the opposite process that brought be here. I had to examine information and arguments that brutally contradicted everything I believed to be true.
