I heard in a bar that Obama is a crook. Can we investigate him now?

IMHO Mueller was given options.

1. Go down for whatever crap he may have pulled

2. Do the right thing and go after the actual criminal actors including those in the DOJ/FBI.

I think Mueller chose number 2.

This article is a text book example of the New York Slimes pumping out disinformation in a fit of yellow journalism.

The Slimes is on a mission to obfuscate the truth that is slowly coming out about the fake dossier that was used to obtain the FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign.

The Greek guy is a meaningless pawn and the Slimes reporters know it. I doubt this even happened.

> I think Mueller chose number 2.

That would be the best of situations, though I really have a tough time believing it.

On the other hand, the two Mueller prosecutions were Papadopoulos (ostensibly a Hillary plant) and Manafort (who was perhaps in cahoots with Fusion 1). Additionally, the takedown of Manafort resulted in the destruction of Tony Podesta’s lobbying company.

So, based on end results, option 2 remains a possibility.

Desperate Slimes call for desperate measures. The result? FakeNews (TM)!

Sorry, I meant Fusion GPS (as opposed to Uranium 1). But that is just a recollection in any event. I should recheck to source the connection.

‘Fusion’ means ‘make one’.

I think I was thinking of the fact that Manafort participated in the meeting of D Trump Jr. and the Russian lawyer (possible “Honeypot”).

I just meant: perhaps we should be thinking of Fusion GPS and Uranium One as team enterprises.. not separate entities. Your conflating/mixing their names is what snapped it for me.

Yes, perhaps I did a Freudian slip after all. Well, Fusion GPS and Uranium 1 certainly have the common denominators of both Hillary Clinton and Russia, now don’t they?

I hate to be a negative Nelly, but you should be aware that Horowitz has a horrible history when it comes to exposing bad behavior in the DOJ. A FReeper recently posted this article on him. I freely admit I can’t vouch for all of it, but at least a lot of it is correct.

https://aim4truth.org/2017/12/17/doj-inspector-general-michael-horowitz-was-handpicked-by-soros-co/

Just be aware that these Twitter personalities like Imperator Rex are likely put there by the deep state to pacify you, and make you think that Trump is going to sail right through this, when it’s not going to be that easy. The last thing they want is for there to be a second special prosecutor, which is the only way we’ll ever get to the bottom of it, so their goal is to sell you that Horowitz, Sessions, even Mueller are going to take care of it all for you.

If you find something from Twitter that appears useful, and do your own verification using a reliable source from outside Twitter, then post your corroborating evidence from outside Twitter.

But if you’re going to post links direct to Twitter, to users that are known to post disinformation, and may even be tools of the deep state, you shouldn’t be surprised that others may call you on it.

Almost every one of these Twitter feeds, much like 4chan, is notoriously inaccurate, if not damaging to the cause. Yes there may be some interesting info there, but you should always validate elsewhere. Once you start doing that, you’ll realize how consistently inaccurate they are.

Certainly, sifting the various viewpoints is tough work. But one of the claims in the article you cited is blatantly false. The article says

“Before the hearing, DOJ Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz had leaked 375 salacious, anti-Trump texts between FBI chief of counterintelligence Peter P. Strzok and his lover Lisa Page, herself an FBI attorney in the Office of General Counsel.”

However, we know that the IG did not release those texts, see for example, “DOJ Inspector General: DOJ Did Not Consult IG Before Releasing FBI Text Messages to Media”, so says the US House of Representatives:

Good catch, I noticed that right when I first reviewed it as well, knowing that the first story the press released was that he had officially released them. Then later the true (?) story came out that they were leaked to Fox News, at which point Horowitz did actually release them. At least that is my understanding.

However that was not the focus of the article, which is Horowitz’s history, that I was drawing attention to. And you’ll notice how I carefully caveat’d the article as not 100% accurate. That is mostly all I’m asking when people link Twitter, if they fell they absolutely must link Twitter. Otherwise, you might be leading people to believe some of the outlandish stuff that’s out there, and might even be disinformation designed to lead you off the trial.

During a night of heavy drinking at an upscale London bar in May 2016, George Papadopoulos, a young foreign policy adviser to the Trump campaign, made a startling revelation to Australia’s top diplomat in Britain: Russia had political dirt on Hillary Clinton.

What's startling about that?--everyone had dirt on that filthy sow.
