Chancellor Angela Merkel will tell Germans that European cooperation is “the decisive question of the coming years” in a New Year’s Eve broadcast Sunday, as her conservatives eye tricky coalition talks.
Merkel will say that “27 states in Europe must be persuaded more strongly than ever to hold together as a community,” according to a script of the annual televised address released by her office. […]
As for Germany, its “future is bound indivisibly with the future of Europe,” the chancellor will declare, recalling that Berlin hopes to work with France’s pro-European President Emmanuel Macron to future-proof the EU.

If the Iranian government is replaced, then peace and prosperity will break out all over the middle east. Whet motivation will the European “refugees” they have been collecting have to stay in Europe? They don’t speak the language, they don’t like the climate, they will have better opportunities in the middle east. Only the welfare cheats will stay.
In other words, kneel to the faceless unelected “leaders”.
Any unelected govt is a recipe for disaster. It is unaccountable to the people and will enslave them.
There is a suggestion in the last week, that to make this coalition deal work (with the SPD)....Merkel may have to step to the side, retire, and some new CDU ‘player’ arrive to be the Chancellor figure. In that case, all of these words in this speech are mostly worthless.
Far better for the once-great nations of Europe to break free from the EU.

All Socialist leaders (Obama included) perceive themselves as the intellectual Elite and feel that they can act like monarchs and issue decrees, despite what the law states.
If I were a general in the Polish army I would take that threat very seriously.
