It says the 80-year-old Mansfield native "passed just before the Browns were prepared to turn the corner."

I remember a Browns fan made a request for the pall bearers at his funeral to be Browns players so they can let him down one last time.

There is life after football.
I gave it up last year after 50 years and did not even miss it this year.

His obit did NOT blame a "winless season".

Aren't the Browns one of the worst anti-American teams now?
This guy could have been a veteran or LEO.

Yet another reason to stop patronizing the NFL. 8>)

In my opinion they are all losers anyway though.

"passed just before the Browns were prepared to turn the corner."

They could have put that in his obituary had he lived to be 90.

True - but I kept the headline as is, it’s funnier.
