They are telling us rain Saturday and Sunday and THEN snow.....yucky!

Yoday was 50 degrees. The snow was melting so fast it made pea-soup FOG!
Penny was EXEMPLARY at the vet this morning. They clipped her nails for free!

It’s 40 here. Not awful but supposed to be in the high 20s later on tonight. It could be a whole lot worse. And the wind has calmed down quite a bit though it’s still breezy.
Hope it’s not too nasty there tonight! Sure glad you didn’t have to go to the store today!....or at least I hope you didn’t!

OK...the vet was $109. But I would gladly pay that for such prompt, professional, compassionate, and personal medical care. In American ENGLISH.
Why are MY visits to the doctor so miserable, endlessly late, incomprehensible, and impersonal that I actually ENVY my DOG???????

The drain thawed yesterday. I celebrated! :-)
Sounds like it’s getting pretty brisk there. Gad the wind’s calmed down some. Can’t have been fun with all that sand in the air. blech!
We’re still in the low 60s here but not for long. It was windy all day but that’s died down now.
No rain for us today. There was rain in the western part of the state and rain to the east but we’ve been in the gap the whole time.
The most recent forecast (they’ve changed it a gazillion times) shows us getting rain in the early morning, changing to wintry mix late in the morning, then snow around noon. Waiting to see if they change the forecast AGAIN at 10:00. LOL
It’s going to be cold for the next week no matter what. :-(

Yep, the Sam’s Clubs in TN are closing too. That was big news on the Nashville channels this evening. We’ve never shopped there but we have a lot of friends who do. I’d say they aren’t happy about the news.

I imagine today did seem easier after the past couple of weeks doubling up. At least tomorrow’s a short day.
Not much new here. Just awaiting the Big Chill that’s headed our way and wondering how much frozen stuff we’ll get clobbered with.
The kittehs feel the change coming and are fired up big time. It’s been a madhouse in here all day.
