Have you watched the JH Cams tonight? They are getting TONS of snow! It’s very cool to watch from the comfort of my warm house. :)
I have the Dreamcatcher cam up now. They have those poor guys up on the mountain smoothing the trails in that mess!

Oh, wow. I looked in about 30 minutes ago and it was dark there. I thought maybe they were going to wait till morning to do it.
I guess they’re used to it. Plus, maybe they get hazard pay. LOL!

They’re way up the mountain. I saw the lights of two of the plows earlier and see one now. Didn’t see either of them for a while.
I’m surprised they’re doing it while it’s snowing so hard but I reckon they want everything smoothed out under the new layer of snow.
I can understand why they don’t wait until morning. It takes so long to do all the trails and they wouldn’t be able to allow people to ski til they’re done. Money lost. I don’t know what time they start but I’ve seen them work until after midnight many a time.
It is strange that the vet does a better job of being on time and friendly, even when their patients have no answers for any given questions.

I’m sure they probably like their solitary job on the mountain. Maybe they even ski on the same mountain. It sure looks peaceful with the layer of snow, though, huh. It’s fun to watch these cams in the wintertime. So pretty! I have a lot of them. LOL!
My favorites are the river ones. Hoback is my very favorite. Such a lovely scene.
I’d probably enjoy that kind of work. Right hours for a “vampire”, put on and crank up some jams, and no one to bother you. Hard to beat that.
If it wasn’t so flippin’ COLD up there. LOL!

In other news.Tigermaus had his big boy surgery yesterday.
It went well, and he was still staggering a little from his pain meds.
He was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy to be home.
He kept being very loving to me and Mike.
They gave us 5 dollars off our bill because
they couldn’t find a SINGLE flea on him!
(I followed your advice about battling them last summer)

Wow! It’s 34 here...feels like 28. Colder than I thought it might be. Kind of glad I had to stay home from class to post the thread. :)
This has been a crazy “off” week...wall to wall busy! I knew the boss would be in town all next week, but found out today she will be in tomorrow. *sigh*
No snow yet...maybe tomorrow, but Saturday is possibly pushing 40 degrees. Bummer!
Erk! What bad timing for her to get there on a Friday! Sure hope you don’t have to stay late.....or have homework all weekend!
