MOSTLY COLD HERE, ALTHOUGH A FEW DAYS HAVE BEEN IN THE 80’S. I hate Winter, HATE short days, and can barely wait for Daylight Savings Time to return. Louie is OKay, except for his allergies. He has to have an injection every 6 weeks. We both miss the beach. I meant to take him yesterday when the temperature was 78 and sunny, but by the time Jordan got home from her job, it was already 4:00 PM, and today was a puny and cloudy 72 degrees with a rather chilly “breeze.” Low tide for my shell collecting was at 2:51 this afternoon and the cloud cover was already rather thick. Water temp is 58 or 59 and I still have the same nagging cold or “allergy” as all of here refer to our respective bronchitis etc.

I’m happy to know to you’re doing well. I think of you often and keep you in my prayers.

Happy to hear you and Louie are doing well other than your allergies.

We miss the weather in So CA but that’s about all we miss from there. Yesterday we actually had a sunny day accompanied by a mini heat wave, it got all the way up to 56 degrees and today was partly sunny with a high of 54. Your water temp is higher than our air temp when the sun is out. LOL!

Hang in there, it won’t be long till Spring and it’ll be beautiful, that’s what I keep telling myself here. ;-)

I didn't know! Until right now, I didn't know that your beloved has been with our good Lord and Savior since July 6!

Your 2 churches are a blessing and you are a blessing to your churches and friends. God and Christian fellowship. My precious DrO always told me it was okay to cry, but my crying is over. You should cry whenever you feel the need. God will wipe away your sad tears and replace them with sweet memories to warm your heart.

I hate Winter and short days. I love sunlight. I think I’m going to buy those interior lights that mimic “sunlight.” Many days I stay under the covers for 36, 40, 60 hours at a stretch. My French Bulldog, Louie stays right there with me. I stay until I find a reason or the nerve to get up. I’m always surprised to realize the number of days that have passed and always extremely surprised to find that I am still tired and not hungry, just a little thirsty.

Just to connect with you is help. I seem to not have enough time in my days to do all the things I need to do, so it leaves lesser time to chat. I check FB each day because it’s my connection to my kids in N.C. and my churches since they are both 23 miles away one way, and I don’t like to drive that much. I feel as though I’m not doing justice to them, but when I mention retiring they have nervous fits. I’ve about come to the conclusion that I will not be writing that book that has been hanging over me for years. Oh well.

I pray that you are doing okay. I catch a post from you from time to time on the FR FB, and I take note of the condition of your life. I can’t seem to keep up with where you are however. CA? Miss? Texas?

Oh, then I read this. You don’t sound like you are being very kind to yourself. You need to find something to occupy your mind and body. Your beloved DrO would not want you to “bury” yourself. Sleeping that much and not eating or drinking properly will break your body down and the results will not be pleasant. I know, I know, I’m preaching to you the same way I preach to myself. Yes, it’s hard, but you gotta do it. I will pray for our Jesus to give you something interesting to revive your spirits.

I’m not fond of winter either. It’s easy to get depressed when you are shut in. Love you girl.

In fact, I was about to erase my FB altogether, but now I won't. I'll be sure to just send you private messages because I don't want to show any activity.

I'm still in San Diego, but I want to return to Mississippi by this coming Summer's end, and "I shall."
