...What about Republican claims that Steele spawned what Trump calls a "witch hunt"? It's true that Steele was hired by Fusion GPS, an investigative firm paid to dig up dirt on Trump, first by Republican opponents, then by Clinton supporters. But Steele went through well-established contacts, and the FBI got serious only after it obtained its own independent information.
Steele's main FBI connection was a senior agent he had met in 2010, when he shared information about corruption in the international soccer federation known as FIFA. Steele, who had retired from MI6 the year before, had been retained as a private investigator by the Football Association in England. His FBI contact was involved in international organized-crime investigations. The FIFA investigation helped bring Justice Department indictments in 2015 that toppled the organization's leadership.
So when Steele contacted the FBI in mid-2016 with information about Trump and the Russians, he was already a valued source. On about July 4, 2016, he met with his FBI friend in London to share what he had gathered for a June 20 Fusion GPS report, the first chapter of his eventual dossier. In that first report, Steele's sources claimed that Russia had been "cultivating" Trump for at least five years.

But please note the complete change in tone:
IT'S NO LONGER "TRUMP COLLUDED WITH RUSSIA!"
IT'S "WELL, MAYBE WE WERE A LITTLE BIASED AGAINST TRUMP, BUT WE MEANT WELL AND HAD GOOD SOURCES!"
Yeah, bull.
Prove it, you phony liar.
Ummmm...no.
Clinton-Russia collusion. Just wait.
The cockroaches are starting to dance.
Oh yea? Which information was that?
All of this is to keep anyone from asking “Who killed Seth Rich and why?”
Ignatius would have you believe that PapaD's drunken, months-old, triple hearsay evidence (he'd heard from a guy who heard from a guy that Russians had "dirt" on the Hildebeast) was what prompted the FBI to open a counterintelligence operation against an opposition presidential candidate. Sure, I'll buy that for a dollar.
Id say more of a snipe hunt.
This is what all swamp media did when Fast and Furious became known. Their "news" stories always began with ....Bush had a similar program. Of course they did not mention that Bush2's program ended quickly when they realized that the guns could not be traced immediately leading to arrests of bad guys.
In a rational world the dems and the press (I repeat myself) would investigate and report the truth! But, neither is rational! Cuckoo birds have more rationale than those two entities!
This is a totally superficial analysis of but a few, highly selected, possibley manufactured “facts”.
This author is WAY too biased to be able to see bias, much less RICO conspiracy for Treason.
Nah, he'd never leak classified info to the press.
So, the FBI provided Steele the fake intel for the fake dossier, for which the FBI then paid Steele to give to them. Makes perfect sense.

Report: FBI Agent Shared Russia Probe Information With Christopher Steele

An FBI agent shared the name of former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos with Trump dossier author Christopher Steele during a meeting in early October 2016.
That new bit of information was revealed in a column published Wednesday by Washington Post columnist David Ignatius.
Ignatius reports that Steele, a former MI6 agent, met with an old FBI contact in Rome around Oct. 1, 2016 to share findings from his investigation into Donald Trumps and the Trump campaigns associations with the Russian government.
At this meeting, the FBI official asked Steele if he had ever heard of Papadopoulos, reports Ignatius, who cited an official familiar with the meeting as his source.
According to Ignatius, Steele had not heard of Papadopoulos, a little-known energy consultant who joined the Trump campaign as a volunteer adviser in March 2016. He pleaded guilty in October to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russian nationals while working on the campaign.
Ignatius report reveals for the first time that an FBI agent shared information about the bureaus investigation with Steele, who operates a private research firm in London.

The push will to charge Trump with “obstruction of justice” for a crime that never was.
The longer this drags on without charges being filed against Comey et al, and the longer this drags on without the dossier/FISA being made public, the more of this crap we will read and the greater the chance that somebody in the Trump admin will be charged... with something. What the hell are we waiting for?
I heard Trey Gowdy this morning and I do believe he does not like our President! He didn’t say as much but he never talks in favor of .. instead he talks in favor of mueller!
