Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm behind the discredited Steele dossier, is still investigating alleged ties between President Trump and Russia, reports Fox News contributor Sara A. Carter. Sara Carter reports:
The controversial research firm Fusion GPS is still investigating alleged ties between President Trump’s 2016 election campaign and Russia, according to several sources who spoke to this reporter.
What’s not known is who is paying for the continuing research? Fusion GPS officials could not be reached immediately for comment.
In October, the Washington Post revealed that Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton campaign paid the now embattled research firm Fusion GPS to fund the research into the dossier. Marc E. Elias, who was a lawyer representing the Clinton campaign and the DNC allegedly retained Fusion GPS, but the campaign failed to disclose those payments on its finance records.
On Saturday, New York Post‘s Paul Sperry suggested he may know who Fusion GPS’s new client is — None other than special counsel Robert Mueller.

I highly doubt Mueller hired Glenn Simpson to continue to investigate Trump. Most likely it would be someone like the liberal billionaire Tom Steyer whose obsession with impeaching Trump is down right scary. He’s a true believer of Trump/Russian collusion and Glen Simpson is probably milking Steyer for all he can get out him
This makes no sense unless Mueller is an idiot, doesn’t trust his own deep state stooges in his old bureau, or it’s a honeypot for the greatest sting ever. Hmm... Mueller hires Simpson to make more stuff up and feed it to his gang - or, tells Simpson he’s the greatest and they want more, sets him loose with the IG watching everything! I don’t think the mule is that stupid. Trump knows all - the key is the meeting at the White House with Mueller and Rosenstein - are they driving a sting or the first caught in it? TBD ;)

It is fake news. Prosecutors do not hire possible offenders. The grand jury would be used to subpoena information and witnesses if there were any.

My WAG is $500+ minimum/hour. He could be billing enormous number of hours. This is such hideous waste of tax payer money. We all know if there was any collusion, it was Hillary with Russia, selling 20% of our Uranium and pocketing millions from Russia.
RosenWeasel needs to publish the weekly theft amount including breakdowns for each lieyeh and staff and expenses.
If it is the intent of the DNC and FBI to destroy the confidence of the American public in honorable public service, they’ve done a good job at it.
If they were honest and honorable, they would have reached a conclusion within a month of the investigation being launched. All they are doing now is proving to anybody watching that they are corrupt, dishonest, and lack honor.
