In spite of assurances by the European Union on Monday, the London-based pan-Arabic newspaper Al-Hayat reports that Europe intends to reject Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas' request to recognize the PA as a state.
According to diplomatic sources, the refusal stems from fear of a worsening the situation between Israel and the PA, and also in order not to appear to respond to United States President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem...

As far as I know ther never was any kind of Palestinian state. Am I misinformed?

Now just a cotton pickin’ minit here. Let’s be fair. Hamas launched those rockets, and only started launching them after chasing us out of Ghaza. When we have our own country on the West Bank for them to chase us out of, they’ll be the ones firing the rockets from there, too; at Israel’s capital, at Ben Gurion International, and at all the illegal Zionist settlements. And all we need is a little recognition to get this started.
