13,000 percent inflation. Now that is hyperinflation. Hopefully the Venezuelans will start printing bank notes with more zeroes so they can become collection items.

If prices double every seven weeks (about what IMF is predicting), people will be reluctant to accept currency at all and no one will hold it. That gives you a barter economy with no investment at all. In other words, Venezuela will experience the natural result of socialism.

On a plus side, they can use the bank notes as a replacement for the lack of available toilet paper.

https://dolartoday.com lists the unofficial exchange rate (which is illegal to publish in Venezuela) as between 260,000 and 280,000 bolivars per dollar. The official exchange rate is still a solid 10 bolivars per dollar. 25,000 times off from reality is huge even compared to California estimated railroad costs.

And to CNN, its still a big mystery why this is happening. The word “Socialism” didn’t appear once in the article.

Maybe Zimbabwe can print the money for them since Venezuela is too broke to print their own.

Ha Ha-

Had an acquaintance that had their Home and Business confiscated by Mugabe- so he asked me if I would like a
$billion dollars!!??- and handed me a Mugabe/Zimbabwe note-(worth LESS THAN AN American Dollar!)
from Wikipedia:

“Inflation rose from an annual rate of 32% in 1998, to an official estimated high of 11,200,000% in August 2008 according to the country’s Central Statistical Office.[167] This represented a state of hyperinflation, and the central bank introduced a new 100 billion dollar note””

HEY— another Shithole that liberals refuse to discuss
because these countries are communist socialist and anti Christian
