I sure hope this is not true (it would have been a foolish move by Nunes and I find it very very difficult to believe).
Much more likely that the loathsome Schiff-head is just trying to gum up the works.
Nunes would have to know it would be nuts to alter the memo in any way once the committee voted for release, which is also why I do not believe the unsourced reports tonight claiming that General Kelly was re-editing the memo with input from FBI visitors to the White House.
If you change the memo you have to bring it back to the committee for approval, I would expect.
Schiff-head is accusing Nunes of betraying the committee’s trust. I think it is far more likely that it is the vile Schiff-head who is betraying America.
All Schiff has to do is make the charge, and Democrats can stall the release by a day or two while the whole committee is forced to review and confirm the authenticity of the memo.
And if any of the committee members are at the GOP retreat in West Virginia, the delay could last a week or more.

Please! Lying or massaging information to the media isn’t obstruction of justice. Do that in front of officials or court proceedings or change evidence? Now that’s different but that didn’t happen here
The Republicans have stalled on this for weeks, giving Dems and bureaucracy plenty of time to spin it away. GOP spineless -or compromised - as usual

My guess would be that the FBI arranged a meeting through General Kelley. Whether or not it’s true, Kelley is often credited, or blamed, for setting up meetings that seem to undermine something the president has already said or done.

The FBI colluded with Schiff in sending those five agents to the WH today just so Schiff could tweet this out just prior to the memo’s release.
If by “a lot” you mean absolutely nothing.
Exactly, this is a delaying tactic. Schiff is trying to buy time and provide fodder for his allies in the media to discredit the memo.
Schiff doesn’t care about the truth. To Democrats, the ends always justify the means. They lie with such ease.
After viewing Dobbs show tonight and thinking more about what he said,
I believe the reporter John Roberts was feed disinformation,
which he feed to Dobbs, which were fed to his viewers, like me.
It has to be disinformation to muddy the waters.
And he’s a damned liar!
They don’t want to deal with this aka Trent Lott and impeachment, and my guess some on our side are complacent, It wouldn’t surprise me Tray Goudy has got a little sumpin-sumpin’ going on that has him taking a powder.

Never think Republicans can not snatch Defeat from the Jaws of Victory! They made Murphy’s law an afterthought. Waiting for 2 weeks while Dems prepared an onslaught against them. Keep praying Reps can get this released soon and avoid another phantom TKO.
There is a much better chance of the memo getting altered by Kelly and the FBI than there is of Nunes doing it on his own.
