President Donald Trump told Democrats Thursday that they can accept his immigration compromise or they'll get 'nothing at all.'
At the GOP's annual retreat today in West Virginia Trump said the other party might as well 'come on board' with his plan to build a border wall and give 1.8 million illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children a pathway to citizenship because 'we are not going to improve it.'
'We have to get help from the other side, or we have to elect many more Republicans. That's another way of doing it, really that's another way of doing it,' Trump said. 'They talk a good game with DACA but they don't produce.'
The president also said that it was a 'trap' to refer to the illegal immigrant youth he's offering to protect as 'Dreamers' in another slap at Democrats.
'It's not Dreamers. Don't fall into that trap,' he stated. 'It’s much different than Dreamers.'
As President Trump prepared to address Republicans' annual retreat on Thursday, he hammered Democrats in the fight over the status of the illegal immigrant youth on Twitter.
'March 5th is rapidly approaching and the Democrats are doing nothing about DACA,' Trump said. 'They Resist, Blame, Complain and Obstruct - and do nothing.'
Trump urged his massive following to 'start pushing Nancy Pelosi and the Dems to work out a DACA fix, NOW!'
In another message Trump said he was heading to 'beautiful' West Virginia, where he would be meeting with the 'great members of the Republican Party.'

The Dims are willing to destroy what's left of their party to avoid giving POTUS Trump a 'win'.
Prediction: DACA will run out. Trump will not sign a new EO as the Dims would use it to impeach him.
The offer he made was beautiful. He specifically pointed out that he is willing to cover three times the amount Obama did. He put the Dems in a box on the issue they shut down the government over. They either make the deal or after March 5 the Dreamers can yell at the Dems for losing their protected status.
Trump was three times as generous in his offer to compromise. They still reject his offer. After March 5 he can reduce his offer to the original numbers if he decides to play ball at all.
I hope they reject his deal. As of March 5th, they can wave bye-bye, and curse the dems.
Nancy Pelosi and Chuck U don’t know they’re up against the guy who wrote the Art Of The Deal.

I actually wanted NO deal but DJT is a better person, with a heart. 12 years (?) unless I got it wrong to citizenship and they’re still bitching?
If the Democrats walk then Trump gets nothing as well.

Like a buddy said yesterday, these aren’t all Valedictorians as the media would suggest.
In 12 years, a significant number, perhaps a majority will have committed crimes disqualifying them from citizenship and qualifying them for deportation.
6 of those years DJT will be President and Mike Pence for the balance so deportations will occur.

True, but republicans are very likely to hold the house and gain Senate seats, making passage next year much easier and a more friendly bill for the President and MAGA to accept.
Trump is betting a lot more Republicans will be elected in a high growth economy.
The Democrats won’t have that kind of leverage next year.
They should hurry to make a deal while they can still get one.
With a booming economy, obstruction is not a good election issue. Dems will get crushed in the midterms.
I hope DACA runs out. No amnesty! The numbers are too large, the consequences too devastating. Many of them are gang members, violent individuals.
That would be completely pathetic. Only the stupid could think not renewing illegal DACA is an impeachable offense. The Dems won't get their chance to impeach Trump after the 2018 elections as they are not going to get anywhere near winning the House.
And if he bets wrong?
They should hurry to make a deal while they can still get one.
McConnell and Schumer, Pelosi and Ryan will come up with a deal that'll pass.
