T.Gowdy: I remain 100 percent confident in Special Counsel Robert Mueller
twitter ^ | 02/02/2018 | Trey Gowdy

Trey Gowdy, via twitter:

It is important for the American public to know if the dossier was paid for by another candidate, used in court pleadings, vetted before it was used, vetted after it was used, and whether all relevant facts were shared with the tribunal approving of the FISA application.

While this memo raises serious concerns with the FISA process, I have been and remain confident in the overwhelming majority of the men and women serving at the FBI and DOJ.

As I have said repeatedly, I also remain 100 percent confident in Special Counsel Robert Mueller. The contents of this memo do not - in any way - discredit his investigation.

I remain 100 percent confident Mueller has sided with terrorists and against the US time and time again since before 9/11.

It's one thing to now know about using a fake dossier and lying to a court, it's another to hold these lawbreakers accountable.

If you can only say something stupid, don’t say it at all.

How on earth does Gowdy say that when it’s clear the investigation was based on deceit and lies made up by the most senior people at the FBI.

people should be in jail or at least..i don’t know FIRED!

this fraudster Mueller is trying to PUT PEOPLE IN JAIL and ruin their lives based on LIES.

For ANY media outlet or dem to keep blowing smoke up Mueller’s ass and his so-called “investigation” should be deported by ICE with the other criminals they love.

One thing the democrats have is unity. They will stand together in the most ridiculous circumstance.

Republicans will immediately form a circular firing squad. First McCain, now Gowdy. Can Romney and Graham be far behind?

Maybe he’s sending a message to Mulehead to do the right thing. End the investigation.

Mueller is leading the investigation when his friend and business partner was fired by Trump and Mueller worked for the previous Administration.

Suspect they have something big and bad on Trey Gowdy. He fumbled as committee chairman the Hillary Benghazi investigation, refusing to call the Commander of the 6th Fleet to identify the order to stand down while Americans were being assaulted and needed help. Now he is “retiring”. Something smells about this guy.

Good riddance to Roosterhead.
Although I will miss his Kabuki Theatre.
All bark and no bite.

if there is to be civil war, so be it.
Gowdy’s pandering to assuage the left will not avert it.

This is what I don’t understand... The whole investigation is based on a partisan paid for lie... how is it that this doesn’t end the investigation right now. The only thing I can possibly imagine is that Mueller is now investigating Hillary and the DNC... I know wishful thinking on my part.

That’s a no-risk throwaway line at this point.

The memo and subsequent revelations will make it impossible for Mueller to convict anybody. I’m sure he knows this. Will not be shocked if he resigns.
