BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (AP) - Nick Foles has a calling far greater than throwing touchdown passes.
If Foles leads the Philadelphia Eagles to a Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots, he'll become a folk hero in a city that has desperately waited for a championship since 1960.

thats nice but can you tell your ahole teammates to stand for our national anthem?
So, now his career is toast?
Philly fans will still boo him.
“When Wentz tore his left ACL in Week 14, Wentz stepped in and led Philadelphia. “
I’m still not watching the Super Bowl for any reason.
Maybe part of the Puppy Bowl, but not the Super Bowl.
Hey did you boycott the the state of the union, you know cause of the anti American protesters disrespecting the flag etc.?
Foles should become a pastor cause many would say he don’t have a prayer this Sunday.
Tough guy, apparently.
Even if he leads them to a 50 to nothing victory, his days as an NFL player are over.
Good money in it. He wants to be a millionaire like all the rest of the pastors in the country.
“Philly fans will still boo him.”
Let’s hope. That loss for him is going to be great!!!!!!!! Go Patriots....America’s Team.
Oh yeah. The only ones who work for God are the priests. The rest are fake. Grow up!!!!! Look at Joel osteen, in it for the money.
How many pastors do you know??
Not many I bet.
Maybe Philadelphia has never won the Super Bowl, but the Phillies won the World Series in 1980 and 2008. Some cities haven’t won a championship in any sport...such as San Diego (Padres lost the World Series twice, lost 4-1 and 4-0; Chargers were in one Super Bowl and lost, and have left San Diego; two NBA teams were in San Diego but left without ever winning a championship).
Nick Foles is already a millionaire. His 2-year contract is for $11,000,000, $7,000,000 of which was guaranteed at signing.
And if you consider Joel Osteen a faithful representation of the Gospel, then that’s your prpblem.
George Washington’s experience at Valley Forge led him to write to his friend Thomas Nelson, that when his war service was completed, “it will be time enough for me to turn preacher.”
