None that I saw.
The only observable disrespect was that a couple of players failed to place their hands over the hearts.
As a Pennsylvanian, I wanted to watch the game in hopes of a Philly win.
As an American, I would have clicked "off" had I seen any "take a knee".
I saw that. It was cheap, despite the hellacious production costs, and was syrupy and politically correct only as Holly-weird could do. Lots of optics that looked better than the politics called for. The only reason I saw the bowl was my nephews and nieces had an old fashioned Superbowl party, complete with family dogs at my feet and competing cats in my lap. And too much pizza and rich food, which is as it should be.
Woody is “Old School”, who, like my off-the-farm late father-in-law (U.S. A, 75th JASCO), took Iwo Jima.
Today’s millenials couldn’t take a crap without directions.
Planned on “checking in time to time” to see who was winning. Saw the “Honor the military” bit up front and it was nice and didn’t see anyone dissing the Anthem. Ended up watching the whole thing and it was one of the best I’ve seen.
I didn’t watch anything, but I checked my Fox News App and read what you said, that no one was the Anthem and that the Eagles won.
Felt guilty about watching but is was really a good game.
