The White House plans to withdraw Kathleen Hartnett White's nomination to head the Council on Environmental Quality, a White House official confirmed to CNN Saturday.
Hartnett White, who would have overseen environmental and energy policies across the government, had described the belief in "global warming" as a "kind of paganism" for "secular elites" during a September 2016 interview on "The Right Perspective," an online conservative radio show.
She has also said the goal of climate activists and the United Nations was an all-powerful, one-world government and "planetary management," KFile reported.
President Donald Trump announced Hartnett White's nomination in October and re-submitted her nomination to the Senate in January. Senators challenged her statements about climate change, which go against the scientific consensus that man-made greenhouse gases are the primary driver of rising temperatures, during her confirmation hearing in November.
When Oregon Democrat Jeff Merkley pressed her on her past comments at the confirmation hearing, Hartnett White responded, "I believe those words, senator, with all due respect, have been taken out of context."
"Well, they're words directly from your writings," Merkley responded. Merkley noted that there are multiple quotes from White "calling environmentalists Marxist, and those who are concerned about climate change as pagans."
White has a long history of questioning established science on climate change and once dismissed the idea that carbon dioxide is a pollutant and calling it "the gas of life on this planet" -- comments that drew criticism from environmentalists who opposed her nomination.

CO2 is plant food.
It does not control the climate.
The Sun does.
I know. It’s ridiculous. But what’s most ridiculous is how mistreated scientists (with no political associations) who claim as such get persecuted and risk losing their posts over such statements.

Bingo. Romans 1 indeed. And notice immediately following that, homosexual behavior and sexual dysfunction gets a mention in the same passage.
Science and Consensus to not belong in the same sentence.
Science only requires one contrary fact to disprove a theory.

She sure got that right. Everything you need to know about the climate change agenda was stated quite clearly by the UN's top climate official in 2015:

What is the President’s problem with her. Her statements seem apropos to me.
I think if the President had his way of course she’d be in no question, but they probably saw too many obstructions for her in the way for Congressional confirmation?

That’s too bad since she is right. Superstition would be a better word for it but that really applies only to the useful idiots who believe it. To the people who are pushing it is just a grifter’s scam.
What if everybody in government started telling the truth.

WHY was she dropped? This is exactly how many of us view this farce of a “scientific theory”. It’s religion for the enviro-Nazis and the commies.

So instead of combatting the global warming crowd with scientific facts of her own she calls if "paganism". And that's supposed to sell her for filling a scientific post?
