Conservative model, actor, and California Congressional candidate Antonio Sabàto Jr. made an appearance on Wednesdays edition of The View to discuss a wide range of political topics, so it was only a matter of time before things veered toward the hot topic of the day, immigration.
Sabàto is an outspoken Trump-supporter who happens to be a child of Czech and Italian immigrants who legally brought him to the United States when he was 12 years old, but that didnt stop Joy Behar and the other hens on The View from trying to use that against his positions on border security.
Let me ask you another thing that is difficult for me to understand, said co-host Sunny Hostin. Weve talked about your family having to hide their identity during the Holocaust in Czechoslovakia, and weve talked about the fact that you came here at 12 years old from Italy speaking no English, and this country embraced you. You call yourself an immigrant, but youre in favor of the wall being built, being paid for by the American people and keeping other immigrants out of the country much like yourself.

(Computer voice) DOES NOT COMPUTE...DOES NOT COMPUTE...
We spend $100 billion on immigration every year. The wall would cost probably less than $20 billion. We would save a lot of money.
BAM!! A wall would actually save $$. I’m surprised behar didn’t spontaneously combust on that one. lol
The way I see it, I want the American people to be taken care of first, said Sabàto. I came here legally and we had to wait in line and we had to struggle and save a lot of money and theres people like that, and they deserve a chance.
A legal immigrant who champions for legal immigration and justifies fighting illegal immigration. Kudo’s, Mr. Sabàto. You are exploding liberal heads.
DACA, DACA, DACA, DACA,DACA, DACA,
That is all we are going to hear and see from the lame stream media until they are made legal now that Trump and Ryan have signed on. One can always depend on the GOP to wave the white flag - take that to the bank.
Sure, agree with you ideologically... but the left has gained so much by making incremental gains. The right seems to be the party that only settles for ALL of what they want or they go home with their marbles crying. We being purists, the left will continue to win if the right’s strategy is Hail Mary passes only. We don’t have super majorities.
Let’s take the wall, e-verify, end to chain migration. We all knew Trump was a deal maker going in...
Not having TV, I only see her on the occasional youtube video. She’s a female equivalent of Lemon. i.e. a random person off the street that seems to think we should respect any political opinion they have.
What part of legal immigration do these buffoons not understand?
There are certain words that libs, and the RINOs that love them, are unable to hear.
“Let’s see, you and your family are LEGAL immigrants, so therefore you must support ILLEGAL immigration.”
Typical Libtard lack of logic and good sense.
It’s very painful to listen to those nutty women blabber on with their confused notions of immigration.
I thought of Al Franken here and almost felt sorry for him.
Because she doesn’t have the brains to respond.
I wish I could call someone an asshole as cool as that.
I don't know Joy, what qualifications did Al Franken have? Or Frederica Wilson? Apart from being imbeciles, I'm not sure either of them were any more qualified than, say, Carrot Top.
The only "qualifications" needed are, or at least should be, being an honest, decent, law-abiding, patriotic American. Unfortunately, there's probably less than 10% of the current Congress (and indeed, the entire federal government) that meets those criteria.
And he is still good looking.
It's difficult in a conversation to really question the other person's premises, but it can be vital. So much of what they say, and how they say, is based on their own fantasy world. Simply trying to answer them can often play into their twisted view of reality.
Jordan Peterson is really good and questions premises. His interview with Cathy Nixon (if I remember her name right) was masterful. She kept saying, "So, what you're saying is ..." and he kept saying, "No, I'm not saying that at all."
Joy Behar is similar. She think that opposing criminals is the same as opposing immigration. Get a clue, Lady!
I see where Cheerio is coming from when after the last 16 years we have seen the Republicans happily implement tragic long term policies as long as they can claim, "We succeeded in stopping it from being as tragic as the Democrats wanted it to be!"
However, I see this as something entirely different. The shoe is now on the other foot. Building a wall and ending chain migration and lottery VISAs will significantly help shape the future immigration into the U.S. If we have to allow 2 or 3 million DACA recipients to stay, it is not great but is well worth the trade off.
