People are fleeing the socialism forced on them in Venezuela by the hundreds of thousands. Starving, and facing violence over crumbs of food, many have no choice but to flee the wasteland which used the authority of government to destroy the lives of its citizens.
Thousands of Venezuelans are attempting to flee the socialist dystopia their nation has become. They are attempting to make it to Colombia. In a desperate bid to escape the hunger and soaring crime rate caused by the spiraling economic crisis, fueled by socialist policies, incredible pictures have surfaced showing the mass exodus of refugees crossing the Simon Bolivar international bridge trying to flee the ongoing political crisis threatening to engulf Venezuela.
Colombia and its neighbor Brazil have both sent extra soldiers to patrol their porous borders with Venezuela after officially taking in more than half a million migrants over the last six months of 2017. The country is also tightening its border controls in a bid to stem the flow of starving people. The situation in Venezuela has reached SHTF levels.
Truck drivers are subjected to horrific violence as looters target heavy goods vehicles carrying food in a desperate attempt to feed their families. The truckers are banned by the government from carrying guns to protect themselves, so have resorted to forming convoys to protect each other. They text each other warnings about potential trouble spots and keep moving as fast as possible.
According to Reuters, there were 162 lootings across Venezuela in January, including 42 robberies of trucks.

Venezuela is a socialist workers paradise!
A paradise I tell you!
A disarmed population has little choice but to flee. There’s a lesson there, somewhere.
Good thing we have a secure border
People are fleeing the socialism forced on them in Venezuela
Before, Colombians came in droves to work and live, mostly illegally. People from all over South America did the same in varying levels of legality.
Now it is the opposite. The engineers fled long ago. Now the ordinary people are fleeing with the clothes on their backs. People drive 16 hours each way to buy groceries in Brazil, they live smuggling gasoline into Colombia over back roads, people huddle in their homes hoping to avoid being mugged in broad daylight.
I heard Venezuelan soil is among the most fertile in the world. Combined with year-round tropical climate, country should be wealthy.
Si! <—— remember that
Most Latin Americans are so brain washed with SJ that they will just vote in another socialist government.
Things have to be pretty horrific if they are even trying to get into the hellhole called Guyana.
Thank the Lord Above for our Electoral College Republican system. The majority cannot impose its will on Americans this easily.
I really believe once we find out the death toll from especially Maduro’s rule of Venezuela, it may run (sadly) into the millions....
You have just described the “World’s Second $hit Hole Continent,” South America. They are not far behind Africa with this corrupt government-induced, continual “mass round robin migration” within the continent. The main “$hit hole country in SA today” is Venezuela. Which one will be next, after the Venezuelans finally kill Maduro. Somewhere is South America today, there’s another Maduro working his way to the top, to wreak havoc on “his people,” and “his people” will help him get where he needs to go, because they are all in for the “free $hit” philosophy of government. “The next dictator is bound to give us more than the one we just threw out with a significant expenditure of our blood.”
