I don’t think there is even a small minority of people begrudging someone legal immigration status.
It is the illegals that are a problem.

Dems LOVE to conflate legal immigration with illegal invaders. They know what they are doing when they lie and they think the rubes will fall for it. Unfortunately, many do fall for it as well as fall for the daily sob story. It is so deceitful for Dems to behave that way, but unsurprising.

When the red man walked across the Bering Strait, Al Gore’s “no controlling legal authority” was actually true. I think they arrived legally - there was no ICE to send them back.
