Per CCHR International The Mental Health Watchdog:
From a very early age Kelley, Texas Church Shooter, was taking prescription psychotropic drugs
My son turned 18 his senior year. Actually, most of the folks in my graduating class were 18. I was not. I was in college when I turned 18. My son owned rifles when he was in high school. He went hunting before school sometimes. He and his friends would get up very early and go hunting and then drive to school. I thought it was great that they had such initiative. We lived in the outskirts of Tucson at the time. A friend’s dad took care of carving up their kills. We had some good meals out of their early morning hunts. Son also worked at a shooting range his senior year.
I was responding to Post #1——which is about drugs.
.
The response is befuddling to me. Its kinda like folks see things singularly rather than developing relationalship cause and affect.
But then again when have you seen a serious conversation on anything? Society changes
Donning my tin foil hat for a minute, the rank and file send their info upstairs and it is ignored purposely to fit to cause an event to fit the agenda
...It doesnt fit their agenda since most MSM reporters are also on prescription drugs...
And in spite of nearly 40 police contacts with the psychopath, aspiring publicly to be a school killer, and FBI failures to follow up,it’s the rifles fault this happened.
Jan 5, 2018 a message was taken in by the FBI which contained mental instability issues of a severe nature on Nikolaus Cruz, specifically. When did the feds stage the drill held at that school? Was the FBI planning on prevention, or planning their response for after the assault? When did they stage the drill? Was it between January 5 and this week?

With a background in law enforcement at several levels and being a combat veteran, my views on firearms differs from much of what I read and hear. I don’t see the use of firearms in these killings any different than I do an automobile with a DUI at the wheel.
I believe we are looking at two different causal factors. One has to do with perpetrators seeped in a religious ideology they believe calls for the killing of infidels. Those, of course are of radical Islam.
But the other group is different. These are clearly people with mental issues.
There appears to be an uncanny correlation between these white mass murderers and psychiatric drugs. Sitting in a doctor’s office last year I read an article that in 31 of the most recent murders (or attempts), at schools and the like, the shooter was on one of the hard, usually prescription, drugs, it also noted a high percentage of suicides are also related. Interestingly, the mental health community has counseled law enforcement not to inform the public of this fact because others on the drugs may stop using them and become worse. - a very complicated problem.
It seems to me we need to concentrate our attention and prayers to combating the actual causes. These are people with mental health issues. Maybe, just maybe it is the psychiatric community who are failing us and all society..
It crossed my mind. But that’s just crazy talk, right? I mean, they wouldn’t actually have wanted this to happen?
I didn’t know the feds had any responsibility for security of schools. Local and state authorities have total jurisdiction and responsibility. The feds are to only act as support.
No no no, it was the thirty round magazine and collapsible stock at fault.
THAT DAY
Teachers at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida took part in an active shooter drill just hours before the mass shooting on Wednesday.
That was then ...
1) This 18 year old was parent less!
2) This school system considers ammo in backpacks in the classroom as non violent.
3) This school would not report crimes to law enforcement.
4) This kid was on psycho drugs.
5) This kid blabbed on social media. Threats
I doubt your son even got to #1 on this list.
The eyewitness students knew there were feds at the drill ...
Hmmm ...
Excellent. Of course drugs masks the root cause.
I would add politicians and clowns in the government for failing us. Instead of a anti-gun campaign we should be having a "Mental-Health Campaign" centered around God and Family.
Yeah, I know that last part will be met with a loud deafening noise.
Who exactly are “the feds” and what sort of a drill did they stage?
My oldest nephew was “diagnosed” ADHD in 3rd grade. My sister fought hard for this kid with his schooling (he was labeled special needs and go accommodations to help him) Doc put him on Vyvanse.
My sweet, loving nephew turned into a recluse with some major anger issues. Sister said no way and pulled him off of it. Lots of research, put him on a high dose of cod liver oil and pulled him off processed foods as much as she could. It was scary to see what the drugs were doing to him mentally and emotionally.
It was subsequently determined that he was not ADHD. He had some therapy to help him with a learning disorder. Discovered ways to overcome. He’s now a normal 17 y/o consistently on the A/B Honor Roll. No more drugs, no more learning accommodations.
Now this isn’t the case for everyone and every parent has to do what they feel is right for their kid. I just tend to hesitate when doctors try to push pills instead of digging deeper.
