I am a military/Cold War veteran.
There are knives, and there are knives.
There are the all category, make, style, and material ‘kitchen’ knives. Believe it or not, THIS is what England wishes to regulate!!
Then, in their own class, are the Kabar (Sir! yes sir!), the Faibairn-Sykes, and the Case V42.
Yes, there are ‘more portable’ models, but with the two aforementioned categories, there is enough to talk about.
That’s not a joke! Some knives are outlawed in GB.
And handing the Knife to my Ex!
Punch line?
None. Jealous husband, questionable whether the male victim was having any relationship with the woman. They were filipinos, and some are very handy with knives, a weapon of choice for him. My friend was 17, our senior year, and had aunts to console him. My friend had a black belt in karate, and would never himself think of using a knife let alone harm anyone else except in defense. If there was a punch line, the irony was that his girlfriend tried to seduce me after a double date after I dropped him home as well as driving my date home. Like mother, like girlfriend?
Many gun and knife and car and mototcycle and bicycle wounded go to the Hospital with serious, but not life threatening injuries.
In the hospital they acquire Sepsis and many die of Sepsis. How often do the hospitals admit that they made a mistake in allowing Sepsis in dirty wounds, dirty hoapital linen, dirty hospital equipment, dirty hospital employees?
Beware of statistics. We can make the say whatever we want. Especially watch for comparisons where gun-wound-sepsis is counted one way and knife-wound-sepsis is counted a different way.

I’d be curious as to how many of those
64,000 victims were highschool kids.
I would guess teens dying from
overdose by far outnumbers those
dying from gunshot wounds. These
protesting, easily lead, snowflakes
are barking up the wrong tree.
