Wow. Didn’t know he made it to almost 100.
What an incredible man and what an incredible life!
He was without any doubt a true servant of the Lord and carried the good news to all the world. His name will always be up there in world history for how he advanced the gospel of Jesus Christ so passionately. Millions of people came forward at the call at the end of his preaching to give their hearts to Christ. How happy he must be now finally home in heaven!
God bless him (He has) and God bless his family!
Billy Graham is not dead.
Memories of his sermons after George Beverly Shea sung. Incredible spirit of God permeated all around. As a young person without an understanding of what "faith" really meant, the spirit alone scared you straight. Never ever forgot. That same spirit lifted me and protected during harms way. Yeah though I walk through the valley of the shadow od death, I will fear no evil or thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thank you Pastor Graham for your incredible ministry. Thank you Lord for for your love and your comfort and lifting up men such as Pastor Graham. Amen
This world has just lost its most humble and committed advocate for the hope and eternal salvation of mankind. For many millions, his message transcended those of world leaders, religious orthodoxies and ecumenical doctrines because it came pure, unfiltered and straight from the source. I’m not convinced that we’ll ever see another like him.
In truth, you’re absolutely correct!
He’s more alive than he’s ever been.
I wonder if anyone ever tried to tally the number of souls he brought to the Lord. His son, Franklin, does a great job but nothing can replace the crusades of Billy Graham.
I’m one.
Indeed. His absence in my life, and in the culture at large, is going to leave a very large void that’s going to be hard to comprehend.
Well done - Reverend Billy Graham - good and faithful servant!
When I was 9, in Virginia, in the mid-50s, I went with my parents to see Billy Graham. It was in a huge circus tent somewhere on the Tidewater Peninsula. I remember my dad shaking his hand and the Reverend Graham rubbed my head, messing up my hair.
I know it’s the investigative reporter in me, but I had to go to some leftist sources to see what was being spewed there.
Not pretty.
A man who truly walked with Christ, IMHO.
Me too!
Sad day for us in particular, Brother.
Glorious! Celebrate with the angels. God bless you, Billy! Hope to be there one day.
