DEVELOPING: Sources familiar with events surrounding the shooting tell @CBSMiami that when Coral Springs police arrived within minutes of the shooting call, they found not only the BSO School Resource Officer outside the school taking up a defensive position but at least three other @browardsheriff deputies who were waiting outside the school. The Coral Springs officers were told by BSO officers on the scene to wait, but the Coral Springs officers blew past them and immediately entered the building.
These events were first reported by @CNN. A spokeswoman for @browardsheriff and @ScottJIsrael confirms they are investigating if BSO deputies waited while kids were dying. Sheriff Israel earlier tried to dismiss these questions by saying when Coral Springs went in the shooter had already fled. But as one senior law enforcement source told me, at the time BSO was waiting outside they had no idea if the shooter was still inside. They needed to act and they didn’t
“I don’t expect cops to commit suicide in a reckless attempt to save even children.”
Sounds logical. But then you think about the young Asian ROTC student, the coach, and another teacher who did risk suicide in a (reckless?) attempt to save “even” children — and died doing it.
They do the same thing out west, attempt to showcase and glamorize cops. It’s pretty much 100% bull s**t.

And his own willful negligence in the Cruz situation.
If a cop shot the killer, you'd be on the killer's side like a well trained Black Lives Matter spinner.

Suicide would have been the janitor running in there with a broom for a weapon, while the cops waited outside.
There is a big difference between “committing suicide” and just being cowards like the Broward cops did. They don’t deserve to wear the uniform and the sheriff should be removed from office.
How do you know? Because CNN said so.
If the shooter had fled the building, why didn’t the cops go in to locate and help victims?
Take your meds and maybe lay off the coffee.

Not to mention that they thought the shooter was inside for 20 minutes longer than he was because of the camera delay.

If Broward officers were telling the Coral Springs cops to wait, then it wasn’t cowardice, but a direct order.
Furthermore, the fact that Sheriff Israel is obfuscating to protect these deputies suggests the other cop was thrown under the bus because it could not be covered up.
You know how people get medals?
They do something really stupid, they do something they will never talk about or they get killed.
We well never hire honorable men like ypu as cops because we have affirmative action. The ladies want to participate...
