Since the high school shooting in Florida, the anti-gun rhetoric has been flying fast and furious across the leftist media. There’s no responsibility attached to the shooter who killed 17 people; only the NRA and an AR-15 are to blame, apparently.
But just three short months ago, the NRA and an AR-15 were used to stop the Sutherland Springs church massacre in Texas thanks to a brave and well-armed citizen, Stephen Willeford.
Willeford retrieved his rifle from his gun safe and ran barefoot over to the church where he placed a precisely-aimed bullet in a small gap in the perpetrator’s body armor which caused the shooter...

If one of the church members had been armed, there might have been a different outcome. At least that person would have had a fighting chance.
Anti-gun leftists want to guarantee that all potential victims are disarmed. They want massacres.
Also remember that a cop with a pistol took out two muzzie terrorists with semi-auto rifles in Garland Texas.
The number of crimes prevented and carnage minimized by the presence of another gun dwarfs the number of deaths. I hope at least one Republican will have the balls to provide the details this week as the 2nd Amendment is attacked once again.
There was a mall/movie shooting prevented by a CCW a few months back as well...but doesn’t get in the stats because only the shooter was shot.
The Ft. Hood massacre could have been minimized if any of the soldiers on base had been allowed to carry a weapon. It wasn't until an off-base cop arrived that the carnage was finally stopped.
Right; here was a case where the accuracy of the AR-15 was paramount in stopping the shooter.
And apparently what “stopped” the Florida school shooting was that Cruz simply decided to stop shooting, drop his gun, and try to get away.
Cruz was not confronted by law enforcement or any other armed person during his killing spree.
So in the leftist fantasy world, we are supposed to just wait for killers to decide they’ve killed enough.
That, and trust cowardly government officials to protect us and not abuse their positions of power.
Only the left could support a man who used his position as a LEO to get to know an underaged girl, cheat on his wife with this girl, get her pregnant, force her to get an abortion, get promoted to sheriff, train and manage a bunch of cowards who run and hide when kids are in danger, and then brag on national TV at what an “amazing” job he’s done. That’s leftist poster boy, Scott Israel.
And these kids the media has chosen to promote have no idea that what they are cheering for and getting all worked up for is Civil War 2. And they don’t know enough about history to know what that means.
These outspoken kids, being exploited by the media, are essentially calling for Civil War 2. It will result in lots of dead and maimed people. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions.
And even then, regardless of the outcome of the war, the guns they call “assault weapons” will still be commonplace in America. The US shares borders with other nations—borders that the left does not want to protect. These borders are porous for drugs, guns, and people.
Even if the gun grabbing efforts of the left succeeded after decades of violent bloodshed, there would be no way for them to stop the inflow of guns from outside.
But the ultimate outcome of gun grabbing is totalitarian rule and millions of people dying at the hands of the regime in power.
