Hogg boy’s boycott has turned into another #MeToo fiasco. This is getting old and out of hand. It sounds to me like Starkey was just looking for a little free publicity by joining the Hogg boy’s boycott.
Good to know - been looking to get some sort of hearing aid - that’s one I can cross off of the list right away....
So are mine. I believe someone in the White House reads FR.

Not sure why, but this really tickled me.
I never have since I was 5 years old, now I have to wear hearing aids ( not Starkey’s).
Of course back when I started shooting, hearing protection wasn’t even thought of.
When I was on active duty we were never issued any hearing protection either.
Odd thing is, the audiologist who tested me and fitted the hearing aids told me to take them off when I operate heavy equipment or go hunting.
Switch to AUDIBEL, good product, good product support.
Yeah; there are plenty of different brands made in the USA and tech support is good.

Thanks for the reply. I looked them up and their website says Audibel is a Starkey Hearing Technologies brand. So they just re brand Starkey - which is the same deal I’m in now. :<
It helped me.
I worked with an audiologist who tuned the unit to the precise (and limited) range of my hearing loss.
It took me a while to get used to the increased noise, but it did engage my oto-neurology and interfere with the tinnitus percept.
Expensive. At the time (2006) $3000 per ear.
