BERLIN, Feb 27 (Reuters) - German inflation slowed more than expected to hit a 15-month-low in February, data showed on Tuesday, suggesting that price pressures in Europes largest economy are muted despite a robust upswing, rising wages and unprecedented monetary stimulus.

Germany’s statistics office has said the German state last year logged the highest annual surplus since the country reunited in 1990. The result came on the back of record-low unemployment and low interest rates.

It is a residual Trump effect.
They MUST be manipulating the data. Inflation figures are low all throughout the developed world - which is fine until you go to buy anything, and you find the price increased.
Probably not. They're just holding the currency stable. Inflation is not caused by a strong economy -- it's caused by the government "printing" too much money.
