Many conservative outlets were saying how the children were being used by the left.
I did so myself.

Children are the perfect face for gun control.
Children are children and they want what they want and they don't care about reason or logic. That sums up the gun control lobby from its inception and using actual children to promote it makes sense. No on wants to argue with children.
