wrong. he forced the Supreme Court to deal with it since they now have conflicting rulings in the lower courts. Hard for the Supremes to say “lower court ruling stands” when there are conflicting rulings.
What he accomplished is telling the truth. Often, the results of telling the truth aren't apparent right away.
Besides why should this be used as a bargaining chip, allowing the very people the wall is meant to keep out, to get the wall.

The courts have the authority to review an Executive Order and rule that it is illegal...like Obama’s original DACA order was.
But they have ZERO authority to create or maintain an EO when the President repeals it. In this case the courts have been acting as the Executive Branch and the Senate should be impeaching these usurpers.

I don’t know how many times this has to be repeated, but obama never issued a executive order for daca. It was merely policy. Just like trump never issued a eo to stop it.

from Janet Napolitano, then head of Homeland Security.
No executive order was ever issued.

100% exactly right. Trump should have said publicly, “This activist judge has no power to usurp what is clearly and constitutionally an executive function. The action against DACA will go forward as I’ve directed. I have reversed a previous executive action. If the judge doesn’t like it he come attempt to arrest me himself.”
Judge in Maryland actually does the right thing.
