A number of universities have already beat you to that.

Bachelor = bad, because it is a patriarchal term. Therefore, the new term is ‘Baccalaureate’.

Master = also bad. Slavery + patriarchy. Therefore, the new term is ‘Magisteriate’

Doctor of Philosophy = bad, because “Doctor” is no accepted as meaning “Medical Doctor” (which never used to be the case). Therefore, the new term is “Doctorate in Philosophy”.

The non-us persons that can’t get an engineering job with bachelors, pursue the higher degrees... what else are they going to do, they can’t get a green card to work without a sponsor, but they can renew their education Visa. The Foreign PhDs we have hired in aerospace are some of the stupidest people I have come across in the business.

They couldn’t engineer their way out of a paper sack and only have PhD’s because it was obvious to interviewers they were worthless with a BSME and a MSME.

Biography of Malcolm Kline

Malcolm A. Kline is the executive director of Accuracy in Academia (AIA), a non-profit research group reporting on bias in education.

So this guy isn’t an engineer, a scientist, nor does he work in a technical field., just a liberal wanker wonk. Probably couldn’t change a flat tire.

As for Veterinary, if you’re male, forget it.

Really? I'd not thought that. Is there any reasoning behind it?

I’m keeping myself busy and doing lots of reading. I thought one of yours was in college? Did she return home after graduation?

A number of the Vet colleges have seriously scaled back, and in many cases eliminated their male admissions for a year or two at a time. There are several reasons for that. The first is that the general way of thinking is that women are better than men in care/nurturing occupations (same thing in the zookeeping world, where Jack Hanna went so far as to publicly state that he ONLY hired female keepers). Generally, the only area of veterinary where you’ll still see men anymore (unless they’re older and have been in the field for at least a decade), is in large animal, where the extra strength is an asset.

An excellent example is the vet college at the university that I attended, where, since the nineties, they have typically only admitted 2-3 men out of a pool of 400+ applicants (about 30-40% or which are typically male), out of each yearly cohort of 100 students admitted. There have also been stretches of up to three years in a row, where not so much as a single male applicant was accepted.
