My husband and I managed to raise six children on a very limited income, (as I was a stay at home Mom for 15 years), sending them to private Catholic schools for twelve years. Now we enjoy watching them do the same with our 13 grandchildren.
What is disheartening, however, is how today's children are being systematically exposed to issues we parents never had to contend with raising our own decades ago. Is it liberalism or just plain evil that's taking away the innocence of childhood? Why on earth should kindergarten curricula include lessons on gender reassignments or anything to do with sex education? Have you watched what children are watching on television today?
I remember when Saturday mornings would show cartoons on the local networks but cartoons are only available now on cable stations and are more inclined to represent liberal humor and social engineering rather than what appeals to children.
The very young child watching the series "Back at the Barnyard" will assume male bulls have udders like cows. Although the character Lincoln on Nickelodeon's Loud family has ten sisters to watch over, his best friend also has two fathers. I'm supposed to add -- not that they're anything wrong with that -- but I won't since I don't believe in adding confusion to a child's life. Dora the Explorer is a big moneymaker for its creators but I've always thought that what we needed was Hispanic children learning English rather than the other way around plus is it really wise to encourage children that it's okay to befriend wild animals in the jungles?

Both the homosexual and communist agendas are targeting children because they are easily manipulated at a young age. They are designed that way so that they can learn from their parents. But that can also be used by evil forces to twist and corrupt children.

Good parents home school now. The exception would be private schools with a transparent curriculum with which the parents approve.

Common Core is Liberal garbage designed to dumb down our children. My grandson, age 15, thinks it’s Liberal crapola. He plans to be an engineer and has earned all A’s during his school career. He knows garbage when he sees it!! He also proudly wears a MAGA hat given to him by his father who retired with 27 years in the USAF stationed at Travis AFB.

For any parents/grandparents interested in a great kids book that shows children how children are easily manipulated by government/school- have them read (or be read to) The Red Scarf Girl, by Ji-li Jiang.
I had great discussions with my 6th grader when he read it. It is about the Chinese cultural revolution, and shows just why it started with the children.
Wait until those “children” are older and “live” the lives they are taught to accept. Our country has really hit the skids. As a country we are in need of some serious help.

Sadly, many times it’s the parents forcing such upon children. There is a possibility of a little transgender on Master Chef Junior this season.
To a degree that’s already happening. This country is nothing like the one I grew up in. The open distain and contempt for Christian values is nothing I would have believed possible in a country that was once considered mostly Christian. Christian churches themselves are being consumed by the political correctness that blinds and deadens them to the truth. They’re preaching hate and depravity instead.
