WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democratic members of the U.S. House of Representatives Intelligence Committee said on Tuesday they would keep investigating Russia and the 2016 U.S. election, despite a decision by Republicans on the panel to shut down the probe.

I don’t believe they have the authority to conduct their own probe. That’s what the various House Committees that specifically deal with this stuff were created for. The Dems have their own representatives on those Committees. They’re trying to keep the investigation(s) going long enough in hopes they’ll regain control of the House in the next elections.

It’s been snowing, and is supposed to snow through Thursday. There was actually more snow on my car this morning, than there was last week when they predicted another Nor’easter. It’s mostly the wet, heavy snow we’ve been getting. Makes it easy to push it off the car. It’s been in the low 30’s during the day and into the 20’s overnight.
