“Joseph E. diGenova, who has pushed the theory ...”
No theory Slimes. It’s now a fact.
5.56mm
DiGenova has been brought in to broker the end of the Mueller investigation
He has the perspective of a top Federal Prosecutor and he knows all about Mueller and corruption at DOJ and FBI
There was a brazen plot to illegally exonerate Hillary Clinton and, if she didnt win the election, to then frame Donald Trump with a falsely created crime, he said on Fox News in January. He added, Make no mistake about it: A group of F.B.I. and D.O.J. people were trying to frame Donald Trump of a falsely created crime.
Damned right. Keep your powder dry. Thanks monkapotamus.
Victoria Toensing has one or more clients who are FBI informants in various matters relating to the Clinton Foundation and the internal corruption at the FBI. I imagine there are plenty of conflicts of interest that would preclude either Toensing or DiGenova from serving in any prosecutorial role related to FBI malfeasance.
An alternative theory is that DiGenova would know the legal approach for dealing with crooked law enforcement people from top to bottom.

His wife is representing the whistle blower on the Uranium 1 deal, so when this all goes down, IMHO they won't be able to talk to one another....
So how does that work at diner?
"So Honey how'd your day go?" "I can't talk about it, pass the mashed potatoes please"..
Tell me where I am wrong here...
I don’t believe one word Maggie Habermann writes or says.
“Little evidence has emerged to support that theory.”
Stupid article written by stupid people.
Habermann is a co-conspirator who ought to be on the “to be arrested for sedition” list. Her name comes up time and time and time and time again in connection with Clinton dirty tricks.
“insurance policy” ..... yeah, I seem to recall the scumbags Strzok and Page chatting about wanting such an “insurance policy”....
I’m sure they didn’t mean to, but by using the word ‘theory,’ the NYT is admitting that there IS evidence to prove the President’s innocence and the frame-up that the DOJ tried to push on him.
“If true, he won’t allow Trump to give any in person depositions.”
It would definitely be a good idea to save Trump from his rambling undisciplined mouth. I love the guy but he is all over the place and too loose with facts and accuracy for legal work.
Mark Levin reached the same conclusions nearly one year ago, independent of di Genova.
Did a show too, with that scenario.
The reason for that, is because it is the truth.
Agree.....he will mop the floor with them all and take it right to Obama, I-do-believe!!! Go Joe!!
Joe diGenova is a stellar tough-minded and smart former DOJ attorney. This is simply great news to begin the week.
Forget the NY Slimes. This means a strategy of pushing back will be reaching its zenith and we could see the Mueller phony Russia Collusion Hoax “investigation” defanged.
It’s going to get uglier before it gets better. But that’s okay. Thank you Mr. diGenova, a tough-talking true Patriot. God speed sir.
As others have said, Jay Sekulow has a radio show that airs weekdays and live streams on Facebook, Periscope, and YouTube at 12pm to 1pm EST.
Jay always downplays his position as President Trump’s lawyer as just being one of a team of lawyers that advises him on any given issue.
He’s more media savvy, which is why we have seen him more often on TV than the President’s other lawyers.
Jay and his panel have talked about Joe DiGenova and his wife, Victoria Toensing on their skills to investigate before. In fact, Jay is a close and personal friend to both of them. He spoke highly of them.
It would not surprise me in the least to learn that Jay recommended Joe DiGenova to the President.
Just a bit more to the story than the NYTs suggests!
He’s not a mere “lawyer”, NYT, he’s a former U.S. Attorney.
That’s good to know. I’ve been aware of Jay Sekulow and the ACLJ for a long time and was happy to see his support of President Trump.
