I think this is badly written. It could be made clearer.
As I read it, the Conservative kid said nothing that he should apologize for. He defended the Constitution in a tweet to someone whose sister was shot. So what? I see no reason to take offense.
But the Liberal student chooses to use this as an excuse to run away from the debate. Now, I suppose, the Liberal student can declare himself the winner because the Conservative student was so beastly (he defended the Constitution, you know! gasp!)
Nope, other way ‘round.
Don’t apologize. Far more people have died defending our constitutional rights.

Here is a fundamental rule for the Parkland People: The pain you feel does NOT mean you know any more about this issue than anyone else. If anything, we expect people who are in pain to react irrationally. And we expect young people to react without the wisdom that comes with experiencing more life.
Until you high school students have tried being a nurse who has to come home at night thru a violent section of town, or have needed to protect your family while living in a part of town with a lot of violence, you lack the life experience needed to speak knowledgeably about "gun control".
All they have is their mostly coached talking points, driven by emotion.
When held up to the scrutiny of the 2A, their talking points fail. They know this and can’t figure out how to get around it, so they balk whenever anyone insists on reminding them.
The Constitution is an obvious problem for the leftists.

And then on November 7, 2017, the little fascist posted this gem....”Am I gonna get in trouble for saying that I hope everybody at the NRA shoots themselves? Is that offensive or can we all get behind that one.”

That little shit Kasky seems to have some serious anger management issues ... looks to be mentally unstable; probably a threat to himself and others. He’s the sort of person for whom they wrote the Baker Act.
This is the perfect example of leftist exploitation. You can’t disagree with the victims or you will be accused of supporting murder. Same way you can’t disagree with Obama without being accused of racism. It’s unfortunate that Kashuv apologized. I hope he retracts his apology and points out the left’s disgraceful tactics.
