man’s house. One has a screw driver to threaten the old man...somehow, the old man seems to have gotten hold of the screw driver and stabbed the punk,
The punk dies and the old man get’s arrested for murder.....mmmm .

When I was station in England, we were brief not resist a burglar in your home. Base Legal office, stated help them carry your TV out so they do not hurt their back and sue you.
There is another story where a burglar fell through a roof of a warehouse, the burglar sue the warehouse owner for unsafe conditions. The guy is in a wheelchair now, but is set for life from the lawsuit. The government supply the burglar money to hire a lawyer for the lawsuit.
Was going to retire in England because of family there, but decided to return the Great USA because of stories like those and the taxes. England is a welfare state...
Awhile back I was reading an article about self-defense in Britain. The only item you are legally permitted to carry is a whistle (seriously). Even pepper spray is forbidden.

It’s a shame the second burglar survived. With both dead, a shovel could have fixed the legal problem created by the screwdriver.
