Those kids dropped a rock...not the same as the sandbag kids.

All four sentences were suspended by the judge in favor of being sent to Toledo's Lucas County Youth Treatment Center. "... so these boys change their behavior and can become productive members of our community," Judge Denise Navarre Cubbon said.A woman judge. What a surprise.

Thanks for that link - just about what we could expect. I’m sure she’s proud of the job she’s NOT doing - as long as it sounds good, that’s all that matters. Feel good judging - that’s the ticket! Of course, she’s a proponent of exactly the same thing that FL schools went for and look where it got them!
“”Judge Cubbons program is gaining nationwide recognition; she was a lead panelist during the briefing where she spoke about alternatives used in Lucas County. Nationwide, there is an emerging trend of jurisdictions moving away from locking up children.
Alternatives to incarceration include diversion programs that focus on truancy and behavioral issues in school in order to prevent the school to prison pipeline””

... Judge Denise Navarre Cubbon said. If that doesn't scream "affirmative action Progressive" I don't know what does. She will have blood on her hands within a year of their release.

Probably.
Neil Burnside would have retired years ago and sending Sandbaggers in stopped with it.

It is outrageous.
Because the murder victim was a man, the teens get off very lightly. Mens lives in this gdam country are worth nothing.
If it was a woman e gynocentric courts would have crucified the boys.

Sounds like a glorified healing circle to make sure the four killers see themselves as victims.

So exactly how many people do you have to kill before they decide that any punishment is warranted?
