saw the OAN report in question and the short answer is no one. The reporter made it very clear that they were never approached by any one. They reporter and his support team picked out neighborhood people at random, as well as speaking with a number of medical care workers. Not one person said they were aware of any chemical attack, excepting the doctors, who made it clear that it was a staged propaganda false flag.

Similar reporting today from Robert Fisk at the UK Independent...neocon chickens coming home to roost.

The search for truth in the rubble of Douma - and one doctor’s doubts over the chemical attack

Pearson Sharp visited the war-torn ‘TOWN’ of Douma he does not say the ‘sites’ of the targets’ where the investigations are actually happening. I do not see Sharp reporting at the investigation sites.

Hmmm, is there a downside to this?

The MSM will accuse Trump of bad judgement based on lack of any valid military intelligence.

If true.. the MSM will disparage Trump and Mattis as being uniformed and risking involving America in war.

Re: “We’re not fighting a war with Russia to overthrow Assad. Nor should we.”

Assad is Putin’s ally.

What would happen if Russia claimed - without any verifiable evidence - that Israel was responsible for the recent chemical attack near Damascus, and then Russia fired a volley of cruise missiles at Israeli military bases?

That’s exactly the way I feel about Trump attacking Syria.

Trump is provoking a nuclear power, and he has no verifiable evidence to support his actions.

Main point of the attack was that Syria still has lots of illegals weapons and Russia has aided and abetted....just the presence of the weapons is enough and w/o them, nobody could “stage” anything that deals with them.

It's 9/11 truther crazy to claim Trump would have bombed Syria without any evidence of chemical attack.

The last thing Russia wants is a war with the US. So, the end result will likely be Putin reigning in Assad and preventing him from using chemical weapons.

"I don't have definitive proof either way."
Good for the reporter!

Very interesting though.

Re: “It's 9/11 truther crazy to claim Trump would have bombed Syria without any evidence of chemical attack.”

In that case, ask Trump to release his evidence.

I want to read it and make up my own mind.

As Ronald Reagan always said: “Trust, but verify.”

By the way, I appreciate your invitation to join the Donald J. Trump Personality Cult.

Maybe later?

Nope.

Just a standard issue Conservative who has voted for every GOP presidential nominee since Richard Nixon.

Every Republican president in my lifetime - including Reagan - starts moving to the Left eventually.

If Conservatives don’t hold their feet to the fire, who will?

The system forces one to compromise.

Trump has done as good a job of any President in recent years of keeping his promises.

The vast majority couldn't give a hoot about the bombings. In a month, it will totally be forgotten.

Re: “The vast majority couldn’t give a hoot about the bombings.”

As a committed Conservative, I have never enjoyed the luxury of having a “vast majority” support me on ANY political issue.

Or could be the GOP Senate is threatening impeachment if he didn’t act. What else can explain attacking Syria?
